ATP USA COMPANY OVERVIEW
ATP Manufacturing is a leader in controlled, small shot, high volume polyurethane molding. Quality, innovation and service define ATP-USA's commitment to the markets it serves. Utilizing its unique Release Free molding technology, ATP-USA has built a state of the art molding facility that is unsurpassed in the efficient manufacturing of polyurethane insole products. This flexible molding process, which eliminates the use of all mold release, including silicon, allows ATP-USA to mold to a wide range of materials, fabrics and foams, creating insole products that offer features that go beyond current fabric molded polyurethane insoles. Those features include:
Today's insole products go beyond simple cushioning and shock absorption.
The insole has moved beyond its "commodity" status and has
become a vital component that improves the overall fit, function and
performance characteristics of a shoe. After all, it is the insole that
interfaces the shoe to the foot.

ATP CHINA MANUFACTURER OVERVIEW ATP-China, a joint venture between Amrong Rubber, Taiwan/China and ATP- USA, brings together two well respected insole manufacturers, each with expertise in foam molding technologies, respectively EVA and Polyurethane. The new company was formed to provide the global footwear and aftermarket footcare trade with the latest technologies in interior shoe cushioning. Quality, innovation and service define ATP China's commitment to the markets it serves. Utilizing its unique Release Free molding technology, ATP China has built a state of the art molding facility that is unsurpassed in the efficient manufacturing of polyurethane insole products. Those features include:
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is the name given to a class of synthetic rubbers made from EPDM polymer. It was initially developed in the late 50's for tire manufacturing but now has a wide range of usages from roofing to pharmaceutical packaging. Characteristics of the material are an inert structure enabling it to remain stable over long periods of time, extremely water resistant, very good weathering & UV resistance. Major limitation is that compression set is not as good as natural rubbers. However this can be improved by careful compounding, or in the case of TCI, is desirable. ESI - Elastomer Solutions Inc. is a compounder of TPE/TPR and molds the same. They mold the Gel products as well as other non Gel TPE's. Gels - gels are TPE. They are TPE/TPR (thermoplastic elastomers, thermoplastic rubber) injection molded components, which are less expensive than Silicon. Plastazote - relieves pressure, spreads load for diabetics with poor circulation. Polyolefin refers to a type of Polyethylene plastic that is blended with a percentage of EPDM rubber used in the processing of our "Total Contact Foam" (TCF), used on the TCI footbed. Multi-density refers to the fact that two material densities are combined to make the TCI footbed. One density is the TCF the other the PU. Poured PU - Liquid PU which is poured into a mold, which is then closed. The PU expands and cures in the mold, creating the final shape. PU is an abbreviation for Polyurethane Foam. TCF - Total Contact Foam TCI - (Total contact insole) multidensity PU / Polyolefin, Blended with EPDM rubber, self conforming. TPE/TPR stand for, Thermoplastic Elastomers/Thermoplastic Rubber, which are really the same thing. TPU - Thermoplastic Urethane
