The Nan Ya Plastics Corporation, is a subsidiary of Formosa Group and manufactures PVC, PU, PE, Acrylic Staple fiber, PP and AN amongst other chemicals. These products are moved downstream into the various divisions that make up the Subsidiary, including the Nan Ya Plastics 4th Division. There are 13 divisions of the Corporation, which include R&D, Trend Analysis, Environmental Engineering and Polyester Fiber.

The Nan Ya Plastics 4th Division produces Needle punched non wovens using internal Group fibers, including microfibers. It uses these substrates to PU impregnate, PU coat and to apply their own extruded TPU's. The 4th Division primarily produces Synthetic Leather products for the Footwear Industry.

Worldwide Materials represents the 4th Division.

Footwear related PU synthetic leather products are primarily produced by the Plastics 4th Division. The 4th Division has three PU synthetic manufacturing factories, Hsu-Lin factory (Taipei county, Taiwan), Hui-Zhou factory (Guang Dong province, China) and Nan-Tong factory (Jiang Su Province, China). The Hsu-Lin factory was established in 1975. Products include PU resin, non-woven fabric, PU synthetic and TPU extrusion. In 1997, in order to better service our China customers, the Nan-Tong factory was established which manufactures PU resin, PU synthetic and woven fabrics. The Hui-Zhou plant was established in 2003, manufacturing PU synthetic and PU resin. The more technical and performance products are currently produced at the Hsu-Lin factory with the other production facilities producing more basic, high volume products.

The product processing range includes Dry Release Paper (R/P) wet PU, combinations of dry and wet, roller emboss finishes. In addition to the PU processes, the Hsu-Lin plant also produces extruded TPU. NanYa manufacture their own non woven bases, including microfiber.
